Wampler's legendary Faux Spring Reverb: same great tone, small footprint, high-quality tone!

The Faux Spring Reverb has been a staple on many players boards for many years now, and when it was discontinued a few years ago Brian received numerous requests to bring it back since then. Not being one to be content with just reissuing something, Brian decided to take all of the feedback from players he had received and give it a but if an upgrade. The result was the birth of the Mini Faux Spring Reverb. Following the idea of “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” he just added more of what players love. More decay, more drippiness and more of that bouncy spring tone players love in the bigger Reverb tanks. Despite sounding bigger and fuller, he decided to condense it down into a mini enclosure to fit perfectly at the end if any chain to grab and go.
Springy boing
When the moment calls for the sound of spring reverb, you’ll be glad you have this little guy. With an extended decay time, the Mini Faux Spring Reverb pedal serves up authentic tones that drip with boing (Don’t you love spring reverb adjectives?) just like a great spring tank. And thanks to an easy-to-navigate control layout, you’ll have your perfect tone pulled up in no time.

Good thing in a small package
There no denying the popularity and convenience of this pedal’s mini design. Not only does it fit wonderfully on even the most cramped pedalboards, but it’s easy to throw in the back of your open-back combo when running in the amp’s effects loop.

Wampler-quality construction
Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to designing the best and most player-friendly products out there are second to none. Those qualities are on full display within the Mini Faux Spring Reverb. From its convenient size to its top-tier components, the Mini Faux Spring Reverb pedal is every bit a Wampler.

It's here! The Wampler take of the classic BB circuit!

The Wampler Pantheon Overdrive Pedal was inspired by the long-discontinued, long-sought-after Marshall Bluesbreaker Stompbox…. and the many now - legendary pedals that have followed its ”transparent” path. The Wampler Pantheon gives you all the unmistakably British break up and tonal nuance found in the best of these revered circuits…. But with some fresh features and modern functionality which are all WAMPLER;

  • A Powerful EQ Section; tailor your sound for any gig!
  • An Active Baxandall Bass control; allows you to match with any cab and fill up any room!
  • A Delicious Presence Control; add just the right amount of Sparkle & Sweetness!
  • Front Mounted Gain Structure & Voicing Controls; All Wampler - a fresh take on shaping this amazing circuit, and instant access to different harmonic and overtone structures!
  • Top-mounted Jacks for busy pedalboards!

If you’re looking for a Classically Inspired Drive Pedal that mates perfectly with any rig, plays nice with all your modern tone-tools, retains all the personality and feel of your playing, AND delivers everything from sweet and creamy push to cranked British Grind….. Go Pantheon.

More of You
The reason the original BluesBreaker circuit is so legendary, and why so many cool stompboxes have been modeled after it, has to do with the way it introduces harmonics and grit into the tone you’ve already worked so hard to get, without altering it’s natural sound or drowning the player’s touch in needless extra compression or grit. The Pantheon takes faithful inspiration from this circuit, but keeps the sound entirely yours.

Always the Right Fit
The Pantheon gives you enough tonal tweaking options to enhance the rest of your rig without muddying things up. The Baxandall-style active bass control is neutral at noon but boasts an extremely powerful sweep as you move through the range. And in addition to the standard tone control, you’ll also find a presence control for adding just the right amount of top-end chime to fit your different guitars and output devices… live, in the studio, or as part of a larger chain.

Not just another Clone
This type of overdrive circuit is used in some very different ways by different players.... The native sound has passed the test of time, but Brian Wampler has added enough easily accessible gain control transport you through the decades at the flick of a switch. The 3-way Gain Level switch toggles between the most useful and usable Drive degrees, and the 3-position Overdrive Voice switch selects between hard and soft clipping or a mix of both! That’s every shade of dirt you’ll ever need.

Built for Forever.
Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to bringing you the best-sounding & most usable Effects Boxes on the market is nothing new. Those qualities are on full display within the Pantheon overdrive. We’re all tone-freaks, and we’re always trying new things, but we hope this pedal finds it’s forever home on your pedalboard, so we built it to last that long.

40w All Tube Hand-Wired in USA Amplifier.

Brian Wampler, best known for his unique line of boutique pedals, has been testing, tweaking and modifying amps for years. While pedals shape tone, an amplifier is at the heart of the signal chain, because no matter what guitar, cables and pedals you’re using, all of it funnels through the focal point of the amp - the “gateway” for unleashing tone to the world.

In 2010, Brian worked in conjunction with Kevin Shaw, of Shaw Amplifiers, to create 5 Brownface-style amp heads which were sold to a select few. Since then, Brian has been working on designing his own amplifier top down with the goal of creating the ultimate pedal platform amp.

Many amps today sound great, but not quite there in terms of great tone AND flexibility. Others offer a strong and focused voicing, but are not always flexible with pedals; and, most amps marketed as “clean platforms”, are plagued by EQ's that significantly effect the sound of the pedals being fed into them. On many amps, the FX loops either sucks tone or makes pedals sound brighter than they really are. Wampler's Bravado provides the solution for guitar players who entrust pedals for their tone.

The Bravado is the ultimate pedal platform amp designed so that no matter what overdrive, distortion, or fuzz pedal you put in front of it, it will deliver jaw drooping tone. Even broken down and beat up distortion pedals will come to life with the Bravado. Brian designed the input to make chorus, flange, phase, and univibe effects sound lush and more responsive… delays and reverbs will jump out with a depth and purity that is lost in other amps. Couple that with a special active effects loop, designed in cooperation with the one and only Dave Friedman, and you’ll notice that putting the effects in the loop bring a whole new meaning to “purity of tone”.

The Bravado is hand wired in the USA using premium hand selected components. With a full and balanced EQ, it has a full range and touch sensitive level response at any volume. A multi- position bright switch allows you to adjust the right amount of chime, and sculpts the top end to sound just right with your pedals. The fat switch adds a midrange bump for a bit more overall midrange boost, to help you cut through the mix. The high headroom 6L6 output stage delivers big and full bottom end, even with a 1x12 cabinet.

Wampler's relationship with Brad Paisley goes back to a time way before his original signature Paisley Drive pedal....

in fact, thanks to the way it produced similar tones to the lauded Nobels ODR-S with more control for fine-tuning his sound, the first Wampler pedal Brad fell in love with was the since-discontinued Underdog overdrive. It's with this in mind that Wampler combined Brad's two favorite Wampler tones in the Paisley Deluxe dual overdrive pedal. By cramming a Paisley Drive and Brian's Underdog circuits into a single pedal, Wampler is delivering the ultimate Brad Paisley pedal. Not only do you have independent access to both tones, but you are able to stack them for more harmonically rich drive in any order you want.  And taking a cue from Wampler's popular Tom Quayle signature Dual Fusion's groundbreaking signal routing, you're able to run each side of the Paisley Deluxe as an individual pedal, perfect for today's pedal switcher-based rigs. Whether you're looking to nail Brad's gorgeous signature tones or are looking for a great-sounding overdrive with unbelievable flexibility, you can't go wrong with the Wampler Paisley Deluxe.

Brad Paisley's Tone, Your Tone

There's been a lot of demand for Wampler's long-since-discontinued Underdog overdrive pedal. And a lot of that demand comes from Brad Paisley. So to improve upon his already great-sounding Paisley Drive, Wampler provides you access to the Underdog's Nobels-like grit right alongside Brad's signature tone.

  • Channel 1 replicates the distinctive Underdog overdrive that continues to inspire Brad
  • Channel 2 is the same versatile, amp-like drive of the Paisley Drive
  • Each channel can be run independently or stacked in any order you choose

Signal routing versatility

To integrate with today's super-powerful pedal switchers and MIDI-based rigs, Wampler outfitted the Paisley Deluxe with the ability to route your signal to each channel individually. With a simple stomp of your programmed switcher, you're able to pull up either channel or a blend of both. It truly is like having two Brad Paisley-approved overdrive pedals in one box.

  • Independent in and out jacks for each channel
  • Channels are individually selectable via pedal switchers
  • Can be run as two independent pedals or stacked either way

Choosing “stacked” vs. “separate” channel switching

The toggle switch has 3 settings: 2>1, Separate, and 1>2.

Looking at the top of the pedal, the input jacks are on the right side (with an arrow pointing towards the knobs) and the output jacks are on the left side (with an arrow pointing away from the knobs). C1 means “channel 1” and C2 means “channel 2” on the jacks.

When in 2>1 mode and both channels are “on”, the guitar is routed into channel 2, then channel 1. The input cable from the guitar needs to be moved to the “C2” input jack, and the output cable to the amp needs to be moved to “C1” output jack. When in 1>2 mode and both channels are “on”, the guitar is routed into channel 1, then channel 2. The input cable from the guitar needs to be moved to the “C1” input jack and the output cable to the amp needs to be moved to the “C2” output jack. When the toggle is in the middle it is in “separate” mode, and the pedal can be used as two individual pedals, both with its respective input and output jack.

Please note that if the cables are not in the correct place, the toggle switch and effect will not work properly, but no damage is done.

Wampler-quality construction

Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to designing the best and most player-friendly products out there are second to none. Those qualities are on full display within the Paisley Deluxe. From its convenient top-mounted jacks to its amazingly flexible switching, the Paisley Deluxe dual overdrive pedal is every bit a Wampler.

With the first iteration of the Tumnus, Wampler perfected their take on the sound of THE mythical overdrive.

With the release of the Tumnus Deluxe, Brian has set the new standard. Thanks in large part to the design’s articulate-sounding buffer, all of the clarity, punch, and detailed breakup of the original Tumnus are still there. But if you prefer the sound of true bypass performance, just hit the switch on the side of the pedal for uncolored tonal purity. Brian also injected the Tumnus Deluxe with a level of tonal flexibility not previously available on this style of drive. Active bass and mid controls, as well as a treble control, the same as the pedal it was inspired by, encourages you to sculpt the tone from this pedal to the demands of your rig. Whether you’re boosting a driven amp or another pedal, using the pedal as a stand-alone overdrive, or crowning it your “always on” tonal sweetener, you’ll find the Tumnus Deluxe’s wide-ranging controls make it much more than just another clone.

Legendary tone and more

The Tumnus Deluxe delivers all the string-to-string clarity, high-headroom output, and amp-like breakup that made this style of overdrive pedal so iconic. But its 3-band EQ will enhance your tone with warm low end, instantly identifiable midrange, and just the right amount of top-end sparkle. Unlike some other similarly voiced pedals, the Tumnus Deluxe has enough tonal control to perfect your sound through any rig.

  • Active bass and mid controls boost or cut the desired frequencies
  • A classic treble control like the original perfects the pedal’s higher frequencies
  • Sounds great as a stand-alone overdrive or a shapeable boost
  • Normal / Hot switch goes from standard Tumnus gain to higher gain

Buffered or true bypass, it’s your choice

The buffer inside the Tumnus Deluxe sounds so good, you might just find it enhances your tone whether the pedal is on or off. But Wampler knows that some players prefer the clean signal path of true bypass operation. With the Tumnus Deluxe’s side-mounted buffered / true bypass control, attaining that uncolored sound is as easy as flipping a switch.

  • Same magic-sounding buffer that we’ve all come to love
  • Easily accessible true bypass performance for uncolored tonal purity
  • Convenient side-mounted switch selects between the 2 modes

Wampler - Quality Construction

Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to designing the best and most player-friendly products out there are second to none. Those qualities are on full display within the Tumnus Deluxe. From its convenient top-mounted jacks to its amazingly flexible tone shaping, the Tumnus Deluxe pedal is every bit a Wampler.

EQ is the most important part of your sound, and often the most overlooked...

The often overlooked EQ pedal is one of the most powerful devices that you can place in your rig. And if the constant demand for one from Wampler fans is any indication, we admit that the introduction of the Wampler EQuator may be a bit overdue. But we knew that if we wanted your attention, we’d have to take our time to create an EQ pedal with the player-friendly ease of use and demand for top quality that Wampler strives for every day. Instead of the learning curve that can accompany individual sliders for each frequency, we gave you fixed bass and treble controls and two semi-parametric mid controls that are as easy to harness as twisting a few knobs. Each knob’s frequencies have been carefully defined (with the sweet spots marked) for the needs of players and to offer one of the most flexible EQ pedals out there. Whether you’re wanting a fully customizable clean boost, the ability to fine-tune the tone of another pedal, or to just bring out the best in your guitar, bass or ANY instrument you choose to plug into it - we crafted the Wampler EQuator to be the tonal sweetener you need to get the job done…  Even if you don’t use a pedalboard and are not a guitar player - put this between your instrument and the amp, the P.A., or recording interface… the EQuator will bring it to life.

The pedal for every kind of musician

With its precise frequency control, ample output, and compact design, there isn’t a musician out there who wouldn’t benefit from adding an EQuator to their rig. Bring up only the mid frequencies you want to help your instrument be alive in the mix, dial back the highs to tame any kind of harshness from the room - you can even completely change the character of your favorite drive pedal. With its sheer versatility, the Wampler EQuator will quickly become your not-so- secret weapon.

  • Active 4-band EQ is precisely tuned for the needs of modern musicians
  • 2 semi-Parametric mid frequency controls allow you to pinpoint the sound you want
  • Plenty of output for boosting the front of your amplifier

Find your tone, fast

We designed the EQuator around the needs of the player, refusing to riddle it with too many small sliders or overly complicated switching. Nailing the tone you desire is an intuitive affair that you’ll find invaluable in the heat of a performance. Whether onstage or in the studio, time is at a premium. Get your perfect tone faster with the Wampler EQuator.

Wampler-quality construction

Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to designing the best and most player-friendly products out there are second to none. Those qualities are on full display within The EQuator. From its convenient top-mounted jacks to its impressively low noise floor, The EQuator semi-parametric EQ pedal is every bit a Wampler.

  • High-grade components selected for their superior sound and response
  • Top-mounted jacks make pedalboard placement effortless
  • Includes Wampler’s limited 5-year warranty

Now widely regarded as the industry standard in guitar pedal compression, the Mini Ego Compressor brings a new level of of control to what is expected and needed by today's guitar players, in a mini Format.

What does a compressor do? A compressor adds an element of control to your playing level – it will bring the quieter parts up and the louder parts down. While an ordinary compressor pedal can give you an element of control, a great compressor will give you the “feel” that other average compressors lack. If you’ve played a great tube amp when it’s being pushed hard, you’ll know what a great natural compressor feels like.

Based on the incredible success of the original Ego but featuring switches for tone (dark and bright) and attack (slow and fast) you can tweak your tone to a standard of a pedal twice its size. By keeping the clean blend of the original, your original signal to be blended in so you can get all the benefits of a great compressor (picking up the notes that aren’t as strong and increasing sustain) but you have the option to remove the squash at the front by bringing the bypassed signal in. With this control, you can have full country squash or open studio level parallel compression. Basically, the Mini Ego gives you complete control of every aspect of your compression.

So, with a comprehensive array of controls and a core tone that is pure, you won’t find a compressor that works perfectly as an “always on” or as “an effect” that is more highly regarded than the Mini Ego from Wampler Pedals.

Brian literally spent months testing virtually every guitar speaker in the market today. After much deliberation and painstakingly listening critically to each detail in every situation, he decided on the ultimate speaker for this amp: The Celestion Creamback G12M-65.

The Doctor will see you now.

Born from a collaboration between Brian Wampler and superstar, tele-master Brad Paisley, The Doctor Lo-Fi Delay pedal exudes a gritty character that works as well for laying down an ambient sonic bed as it does for old-school slapback. Give the pedal’s Rate and Depth knobs a spin, and the self-oscillating repeats easily become an aural wash that, while not interfering with the notes you’re playing, is still far from subtle. And the pedal’s straightforward control layout - such as onboard tap tempo control with four easily selectable rhythmic subdivisions - makes use of The Doctor Lo-Fi Delay a triumph over many of the menu-based delay engines of today. Brian Wampler and Brad Paisley know guitar tone. Take a tip from them and add the lo-fi delay goodness of The Doctor to your pedalboard. We think you’ll find it’s right in your Wheelhouse.

There are few tones more addictive to guitarists than the runaway repeats of a self-oscillating delay. With The Doctor, you can put that glorious chaos underneath your playing as an ambient cloud that is anything but pristine. We think you’ll find that Brian Wampler has succeeded in expertly balancing the line of tonal radiance and grainy disintegration like precious few delay pedal creators before. The Lo-Fi repeats that become a sonic bedrock for your tone, working along with the modulation, and the 100% analog, untouched signal path for your original/through tone.

Plug it in, step on the footswitch, and be inspired. That’s how easy The Doctor Lo-Fi Delay is to use. Unlike many menu-based digital pedals, Wampler wants you to be able to twist a few knobs and get the exact tone you’re looking for. If reading manuals and scrolling through deep menus makes you sick, we have just The Doctor for you... The Doctor has been carefully engineered to be plug-and-play ready with an intuitive control layout that will be familiar to most players and absolutely no menu diving or confusing computer-based editors.

The onboard tap tempo footswitch and Sub Divisions (quarter, eighth, dotted eighth, and triplets) button are effortlessly accurate o giving you on the fly rhythmic control -  making sure the repeats that are every bit the musical instrument as your guitar and amplifier. We have even included an external tap tempo in/out control. This allows you to connect another compatible pedal and have The Doctor control its delay time, or have it control The Doctor – the days of tap tempo tap dancing are numbered!

So, as we said above, The Doctor will see you now, and your prescription is ready!

Now widely regarded as the industry standard in guitar pedal compression, the Ego Compressor brings a new level of of control to what is expected and needed by today's guitar players.

What does a compressor do? A compressor adds an element of control to your playing level – it will bring the quieter parts up and the louder parts down. While an ordinary compressor pedal can give you an element of control, a great compressor will give you the “feel” that other average compressors lack. If you’ve played a great tube amp when it’s being pushed hard, you’ll know what a great natural compression feels like.

When we designed this pedal, the focus was ensuring the playing dynamics could be retained and that the compressor didn’t color the tone at all. By incorporating a clean blend, it allows your original signal to be blended back in so you can get all the benefits of a great compressor (picking up the notes that aren’t as strong and increasing sustain) but have the option to remove the squash at the front. With this control, you can have full country squash or open studio level parallel compression.

So, with a comprehensive array of controls and a core tone that is pure, you won’t find a compressor that works as perfectly as an “always on” or as “an effect” and is more highly regarded than the Ego Compressor from Wampler Pedals.

Simply designed to keep your tone perfectly balanced within a beautiful and full tremolo.

From the sweet shimmering tremolo of yesteryear to helicopter choppiness of today, the tremolo has been a staple for guitar effects. With one foot in sweet vintage tones and one foot in more modern helicopter chops, the Wampler Latitude Standard simply just offers you pure and beautiful tremolo.

Like the standard’s big brother, the Deluxe, the standard has a pure signal path that allow the tremolo effect to be layered across the top giving you the best sound you can possible want from a tremolo.

Featuring a standard sine wave and controls for level, speed and depth, those tremolo tones you’ve always chased can be yours simply and easily. Most important of these controls, believe it or not, is the volume. How many times have you put a tremolo on and it’s either been way too loud or quiet, with this control you can easily balance your tone perfectly. This may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised how many great tremolo’s are let down by a poorly placed, or completely missing, volume control.

Tremolo, beautifully simple, by Wampler Pedals.

The Tumnus, the most mythical and legendary overdrive/boost brought to you in a small enclosure; affordable, and most importantly.... available!

There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and its name is Tumnus.

Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. Stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand alone overdrive, or use it as a slightly dirty boost to push the front end of your amp over the edge. You can even use it as a buffer, because just like the original this pedal is not true bypass. Instead, faithful to the original, this pedal contains a buffered bypass tone legendary in its own right.

The Tumnus’ streamlined 3 control knobs (Volume, Gain, and Tone) allow you to quickly dial in your tones no matter what the gig calls for. We aren’t going to sit here and claim it has magical parts, or we sourced out 60 year old diodes that make it perfect, but we are going to say that during our research we looked at everything available and then only used the parts that Brian chose to replicate that amazing tone.

Let’s face it, not everyone has room for a four-legged beast on their board. This slender biped slips in and out of a myriad of tight situations. Now you can have the tone. Now you can have history. Now you can have it all without having to sell your prized gear possessions. The Wampler Tumnus, standing up for that amazing tone, but without the outrageous claims often associated with it.

What do you get when Brian Wampler, a man who has built an empire on some of the most respected distortion and overdrive pedals on the market, chases the guitar tone of Ola Englund (The Haunted, Feared, Six Feet Under), one of the world’s most aggressive-sounding and identifiable metal guitarists? You get the Dracarys. That’s what. This vicious stompbox effortlessly embraces any sub-genre of metal, thanks to its finely tuned EQ and Tight/Open switch. But tap into its decidedly modern soul, and the Dracarys will instantly morph your clean amp into one of the most savage and modern high-gain powerhouses this side of Mr. Englund himself. As Ola puts it, no matter type of high-gain tones you’re looking for, “It can definitely deliver the chug.”

Dracarys is Modern Metal

Brian Wampler’s ability to distill the playing experience of a cranked guitar amp into a box that fits on your pedalboard makes him among the premier effects builders in the world. So when he came across the genre-defining tones on Ola Englund’s YouTube channel, the gauntlet was thrown down. He had to create a pedal that contained that same searing gain, percussive low end, unparalleled note clarity. He had to create the Dracarys.

  • Designed by one of the most respected names in distortion and overdrive
  • Inspired by the powerful sound of Ola Englund
  • Nails today’s modern, tight, high-gain, cutting metal tone
  • Musical and useable tones throughout the range of each control

The Sound

There are almost as many legendary heavy metal guitar tones as there are tattooed headbangers, and the Dracarys nails each those tones admirably. But turn up the gain, throw the gain switch to tight, and dial in the EQ and you’ll witness the pedal come alive with the teeth and sheer force that propels today’s most inspired metal guitarists.

  • Detailed control of your tone with an active 3-band EQ
  • Gain switch offers Open (very amp-like and uncompressed) and Tight (quick low-end with added gain and punch) settings
  • Voiced to deliver everything from doom-style walls of gain to tones that cut with laser precision

 Wampler-quality construction

Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to designing the best and most player-friendly products out there are second to none. Those qualities are on full display within the Dracarys distortion pedal. From its convenient top-mounted jacks to its true-bypass switching, the Dracarys is every bit a Wampler.

Reverb... it's either too basic or too complicated. Not anymore.

Thanks to the power of today’s digital technology, there are more options for attaining great reverb effects than ever before. But imagine being able to get the same washes of tone, that often emanate from some overly complicated stompbox computers, from a compact, single-button pedal with straightforward controls. That’s exactly what you’ll find with the Wampler Reflection. A flip of a switch shifts from swampy, springy goodness to a studio-grade plate reverb. Then manipulate that ambience on the fly, thanks to the intuitive control layout. And with internal switches to control the effect’s tails and dry signal, the Reflection will integrate perfectly into almost any guitar rig. So, when you’re done surfing through menus while you’re trying to perform, but you still demand pristine trails of tone, put the Wampler Reflection reverb pedal on our board and never look back.

Two reverbs in one
The spring and plate reverbs onboard the Reflection have been expertly voiced to sit as comfortably on a surf rocker’s board as they will adding subtle air in a studio environment. The spring setting faithfully replicates the boing and drip of the classic effect, while the plate places your tone in 3-dimensional spaces that add beauty and character to everything you play.

Just the right amount of control
The life of a performing guitarist doesn’t offer a lot of time for tone-tweaking on the job. That was a guiding consideration when crafting the Reflection reverb. You’re able to conjure the detailed tones with the twist of decay, tone, pre-delay, and reverb volume knobs. You’ll also find internal controls for allowing the tails to ring through and for adding or removing your guitar’s original signal.

Wampler-quality construction
Brian Wampler’s attention to detail and commitment to designing the best and most player-friendly products out there are second to none. Those qualities are on full display within the Reflection reverb. From its convenient top-mounted jacks to its top-tier components, the Reflection reverb pedal is every bit a Wampler.

  • High-grade components selected for their superior sound and response
  • Top-mounted jacks make pedalboard placement effortless

The perfect 1x12" cab to give your amp the most balanced and responsive voice.

Many people think that an extension cab is just a box with a couple of speakers in it, they couldn’t be more wrong! When designing the Bravado amp Brian Wampler knew that a standard speaker cabinet would not work as they are all voiced for amps that have strong defined EQ curves. Because the Bravado relies on much more open and flexible range of frequencies, the cab HAD to be something that would encourage that, something that would bring it all out and make the amp sing.

The Wampler Bravado 1×12 Cabinet is a 1×12” open back extension cabinet. Built with tongue and groove Baltic Birch construction to deliver the bass, mid response, high end clarity and clear distinct tone, Brian found that this construction and choice of materials kept the weight down while retaining the sold construction you would expect from a Wampler product. Although only packing a single 1x12”, the cab has been voiced so it sounds huge and allows the full range of tones to come flooding out.

At its heart lies a Celestion G12M-65 Creamback 16 Ohm speaker. Brian meticulously went through dozens of different speakers from several different manufacturers trying to find The Perfect Speaker that would compliment the organic qualities that the Bravado provides for the pedal-loving player. Every speaker you could imagine was installed, tested, tested again, compared to the others and then tested again. All the time, he kept coming back to the Creamback..

The reason he kept coming back to it was it is the only one that could give the response and clarity he demanded for the Bravado. As the speakers are high head room and do not break up as fast as others, they bring a full low end depth which complements the warm and vocal mid range, expressive upper mids and sweet, refined, clear and distinct highs. There are times when you look at it and think “Is there really only 1 speaker in there?”

The last thing Brian wanted, once we had found the perfect construction material and speaker (and everything else of course), was to finish the cab with regular (boring) and standard (predictable) grill clothe. We found some from an unusual source (you won’t find this on any other cab) that not only looks real cool, is totally unique, extremely hardwearing and durable but doesn’t get in the way of the tone more than absolutely necessary.

As with all Wampler cabinets, over-sized 12-gauge speaker wire is soldered between the speaker and terminal, assuring you capture every ounce of valuable tone. The Bravado 1x12ext is handcrafted with pride in the USA and designed to withstand the rigors of the road, and sounds infinitely bigger than you will expect it too.

With all the character, power, and tone of a classic fuzz – the Velvet offers all this AND the option to tame the beast and bring it back under control.

Looking back through history of great fuzz tone, there have been some truly outstanding examples - in particular, the tones that have been achieved by running a fuzz into a screaming stack. The kind of tones that are just earth shattering in their depth, aggression and smoothness.

We took the base tones from a very famous Wampler Pedal (one that has the characteristics of a famous stacked, EL34 driven, amp) and decided this was the best foundation to build the perfect fuzz and deliver it in a unit that sounds as good as it feels powerful.

With two completely different clipping options (not just the basic silicon or germanium option like most) you can achieve those classic fuzz big tones that compresses massively across the bottom or you can tighten them up and have it respond more like a distortion. With this you get all of the tone with none of the side effects. Some people say it sounds like a fuzz but feels like a distortion, so yes, you CAN have the best of both worlds.

If you are a fan of the tones of the players like David Gilmour or Eric Johnson (and let’s face it, who isn’t), then it could be that the Velvet Fuzz is the pedal you are looking for. Welcome to a new world of thick as a brick, wall crumbling and window shattering fuzz. Velvet Fuzz.

Natural, transparent overdrive

The Euphoria has been world renowned for many things over the years, but primarily it has become famous for its versatility and that old boutique catch phrase “transparency”.

When Brian created the circuit that would eventually become the Euphoria, he was working on creating a pedal that would go from clean tones to extremely fat tones while adding a bit of warmth, a natural overdrive… the goal was to make a pedal that does NOT sound like a pedal – it needed to be dynamic, have a great choice of tones (from  gritty to smooth) yet be able to respond to the volume knob like a tube amp.

The hidden secret of the Euphoria is the pre-gain bass control. This gives the tone a fatness that a regular EQ stack cannot give you, it gives you a warmth and sustain to the tone that is extremely similar to that famous, elusive amp that attracts the the kind of price tag in the used market that could literally buy you a home.

If you love the sound of your clean tone, and just wish you could have more hair on the note… a little bit of grit without any change in tonality, the Euphoria will do that with ease. The 3 completely separate gain stages give you 3 distinct styles of overdrive – So, from that famous smooth amp style drive, to an open and free tone that just pushes your natural tone all the way up to a more aggressive crunch style, the Euphoria will be the first, and quite possibly last, choice you make for an overdrive pedal.

The perfect 2x12" cab to give your amp the most balanced and responsive voice.

The Wampler Bravado 2×12 Cabinet is a 2×12”closed (with removable port to give it an more open response, with wider bass, if needed) back extension cabinet. Built with tongue and groove Baltic Birch construction to deliver the bass, mid response, high end clarity and clear distinct tone, Brian found that this construction and choice of materials kept the weight down while retaining the sold construction you would expect from a Wampler product.

At its heart lies 2 Celestion G12M-65 Creamback 16 Ohm speakers. Brian spent so long choosing the speakers we can’t actually remember how long it took, it just seemed to go on forever.

The Bravado 2x12ext is handcrafted with pride in the USA and designed to withstand the rigors of the road.

How many times have you sat in front of your favorite ambient pedal and felt like you need weeks of training at NASA to use it? Knobs, switches, sliders…It’s often SO hard and frustrating to find a usable tone on those things quickly... Keeping that firmly in mind, when we first considered making an ambient pedal, ease of use was a top priority, right up there with top tier quality tone on par with pedals at twice the price.

How do you describe a pedal like the Wampler Ethereal? Does ambient heaven cover it? Is it the gateway between real life and the astral plane? Or is it just gorgeous? It’s hard to know which phrase to use when talking about it, because they all match it perfectly… plus, of course, so easy to use you’ll be getting those perfectly Ethereal tones instantly.

When designing the Ethereal these were the EXACT thoughts running through the mind of Brian Wampler. He wanted to make a delay that is as pure as you could want, with a time of up to 1s, a reverb that is thick and then have the option to mix them all up and put them together in one glorious effect that will send you away… all the way away while making it as easy to use and easy to find those perfect tones as possible.

Oh, and did we tell you – it’s been a bit of a secret, there isn’t one delay lurking within the Ethereal, there are two! The first delay constantly sits there like a heartbeat, coming back at you at quarter notes, we then layer another over the top – that one can be put into a triplet pattern, or a dotted 8th (so you can get that beautiful quarter + dotted 8th mix) and even a self-oscillating dotted eighth pattern that just takes you away and leads you over the edge and down the rabbit hole into perfect ambience… Things can get a little crazy when that one is selected, so you know, knock yourself out – it’s there to make some incredibly strange yet beautiful sounds… See that little switch down there? Yep, that’s the one, just to the right of the stomp - that’s a trails button. When this is used the delay patterns and reverbs sing out after the pedal has been deactivated, so you can even control what you want to come back at you.

While you are enjoying the delay patterns, sitting underneath is that beautifully cavernous plate style reverb that is alive with character and shape, that can be brought in to exactly the right level (whether that be under your guitar, the same level - unity, or even considerably louder) to compliment the delay.

As you can imagine, this has been some feat of engineering (definitely worth waiting for) as we wanted all this to happen from a regular sized box, with the purity of tone and response you would expect from a Wampler. So, as with our other time pedals, we split the signal going in, the effected signal is then laid back on top of the original base tone, making sure that YOUR guitar sounds exactly how it does going in.

The Wampler Ethereal. Not only can it be used a stand alone reverb or delay pedal, it can be combined for you to worship, to get lost in, to even help you inspect your shoes… but most of all, it was designed to inspire.

I’m guessing that most of you know the story about Brian modding a pedal and throwing it onto the stage in front of Brad Paisley?

I’m guessing that most of you know the story about Brian modding a pedal and throwing it onto the stage in front of Brad Paisley? Well, if you don’t…. That’s exactly what happened. During the show, Brian threw a modded pedal onto the stage in the hope that Brad would pick it up and try it. Fortunately for us, and you, Brad’s tech picked it up, played it - digged it and gave it to Brad who took it away and LOVED it. From that point on, he has used and loved Wampler Pedals.

After a few years of using our pedals (Ego, Underdog and Faux AnalogEcho) Brad’s new tech, Chad, mentioned to Brian that Brad wasn’t 100% content with his tone and maybe we should all work together to make the perfect overdrive for Brad to record and tour with.

Paisley’s requirements were quite “simple”… it needs to be clean but get crunchy with some “beef” to it. It needs to have a fluid tone when soloing. It needs to add a little hair to the tone but then but then has to be able to give flat out ball busting gain, oh… but please do not wreck the tonality. It needs to have everything, in a pedal format, but do not make it sound like a pedal!

Over a period of months, Brian made some circuits and sent them off, there were a couple of “tweaks” here and there to be made and then finally, when official “prototype #2.0” landed, it went straight into the live rack and out on the 2010 “Brad Paisley: H20” world tour.

The truly great thing about this pedal is that it’s not only Telecaster style guitars that it works so well with, it brings the best out of your Strat or anything you may have loaded with humbuckers. You no longer need to have individual pedals for your guitars; the Paisley Drive will make each one sing.

The built in tonal controls, the presence and mid contour switches (giving three completely different EQ styles – warm mids, neutral, and a more mid scooped character, will make this pedal one of the most versatile and complete overdrive pedal you have ever owned.

Brad Paisley:

“…we actually recorded this (pedal) in the studio, you know, trying it out. I turned up a Trainwreck Amp that I’ve got and compared the sound of the distortion and it was very, very similar. And that’s a very good test because any time a pedal can mimic a great overdriven amp then you’re on to something…”

Now in it’s second incarnation, the Faux Tape Echo v2 brings you everything you want from a standard delay pedal in the ultimate gig friendly package.

Based on the hugely popular best seller of the previous models, the v2 offers the same purity of signal path, the same depth of tone on the repeats and most importantly, the addition of sub divisions on the tap tempo. With this, you can now have your delays come at ¼, 1/8, dotted 1/8 and triplet based on your tap tempo.

With our hybrid design (completely pure analog dry path with the digital delay layered on top) approach, you get the best of both worlds. You get the note clarity, much lower noise, and longer delay times from digital delays...  You also get the lovely warmth and little exquisite touches that are usually reserved for analog delays. Nearly every part of the pedal, all of its major functions, are analog. The “delay line” is the only digital part of the signal path. It alone being digital brings clarity and focus to the task in a way that analog delay line chips can’t really match.

But everything else, all the absolutely vital filtering to carefully finish the sound is pure analog. Every aspect of the modulation that gives the Faux Tape Echo pedal a unique function and tone and makes it desirable for people who want their delay tone to sound as good as tape delay units but without all the maintenance, supplies, and hassle. Your all-important fundamental dry tone is 100% analog, too.

So when we say it’s the best of both worlds, we absolutely mean it. From country slap-back to ambient washes to straight-ahead rock and metal delay, the hybrid approach lets Brian make one pedal that can do it all.

The Faux Tape Echo takes everything great about the original, and adds to it that much-requested tap tempo with sub-division functionality that users have been asking for, as well as our well known emulation of the elusive and beautiful character that people look for in classic tape echo units.

Building on the foundations of the Pinnacle Standard and the original Deluxe, we are proud to bring to you the v2 of our biggest selling distortion pedal, the Pinnacle Deluxe.

We took everything we loved about the original and added many options to make the pedal more versatile. Before now, the Deluxe was the same as the standard but with the boost on the stomp instead of a switch. The v2 comes with a new EQ, more control and much more versatility.

The first thing you’ll notice is the 3 band EQ. With this, you will be able to sculpt your tone like never before. We’ve also added bright and bass boosts, so you can get that fresh tone or the thump of a 4x12”. Then, we added the “Valve Screamer” based pre gain boost (that you can use when the pedal is bypassed) – we all know how good this style of  circuit pushes gain stages… Then, the secret weapon. On the side is the SAG switch. This can allow you to remove that saggy crunch and tighten the response up dramatically, so – this v2 offers not only an updated take on a Wampler classic, but also a plethora of new features that will be irresistible to tone chasers everywhere!

The Pinnacle Deluxe v2. From the Brown Sound to classic rock. From amp overdrive to screaming metal, you CAN have it all.

The Dual Fusion pedal from Wampler Pedals is, we think, the first overdrive pedal specifically voiced to the new breed of fusion guitarists – but it’s so versatile it can find a place on ANY board of ANY genre.

Fusion in its current form is a fairly new concept, with roots not only in theoretical jazz but rock; not classic blues based rock, but the more technically advanced “shredders” that first became popular in the mid to late 80’s. One of the forerunners of this genre is Tom Quayle. Tom is the UK’s finest and most in demand exponent of modern fusion. With a rich theoretical knowledge, a student base that contains not only “regular” players but also some absolute stellar names in the industry, and a pair of ears that are completely unforgiving he has never been able to locate a pedal he can use that allows him to be the guitarist he truly is.

When we first met Tom in early 2012, he was already using our Euphoria and Paisley Drive stacked together to give him the tones he required. But, something wasn’t quite right; those pedals are voiced for other genres of music altogether so we set about honing the tones to match his style of playing. He needed more transparency, a tighter and controlled response on the bass end and when stacked up they needed to sound and feel like an amp running at high levels and give each string complete clarity and response.

Over a year later, we had the Dual Fusion. With two independent circuits that are based, but are completely modified, on the Euphoria and Paisley Drive, Tom finally has a tone that can be used when he is in full flow as a musician.

The Wampler Pedals Dual Fusion, the first pedal to be specifically voiced for the fastest growing breed of musicians around. With the most versatile stacking/signal path options available on an analog pedal, it is the foundation of modern Fusion… Add in the versatility you expect from Wampler Pedals, the Dual Fusion will appeal to guitarists from all genres at all levels.

The trouble with distortion pedals is that many of them only serve one function...

The trouble with distortion pedals is that many of them only serve one function. We all know that the distinguished tone chaser sometimes needs extreme gain, sometimes needs mild overdrive… sometimes needs something that does both of the above and everything in between. The Pinnacle not only does that, but it also brings the most convincing “Brown Sound” to be ever heard in a pedal!

With two separate styles of gain structure, a powerful mid contour (from scooped to mid hump) control and a control that squeezes out every ounce of tone from your guitar, you’ll notice that the Pinnacle is called that for a very good reason.

Although extremely versatile the Pinnacle is well known for giving the “Brown Sound”, the tone and style of distortion made famous by Eddie Van Halen. Zeke Clark (Van Halen’s longtime renowned guitar tech) played through a pinnacle and this is what he had to say: “I’ve played tons of pedals that promised that “Brown Sound”… this pedal NAILS it better than anything I’ve ever heard or played.”
