Bob Locke is a Minnesota-based lead guitarist known for his dynamic style, technical precision, and deep musical versatility. A graduate in Jazz Guitar Performance, Bob’s formal training laid the foundation for a career that spans genres and stages across the Midwest.
He got his start as a founding member of La Crosse, Wisconsin’s reggae-rock band T.U.G.G., before shifting into cowpunk-country territory as the lead guitarist for award-winning Minnesota band Ledfoot Larry. Bob’s intricate solos are a standout feature on their sophomore release of original country music, Tequila Mockingbird, which earned the group the 2024 Maverick Award from the Midwest Country Music Organization.
Currently, Bob plays lead guitar for Stone Daisy, a high-energy country-rock band bringing big sound to rodeos, festivals, and clubs throughout the region. He also holds down guitar duties for Minnesota’s LoverCraft, a powerhouse live band delivering danceable soul, funk, retro R&B, and groove-heavy rock and pop—from Aretha Franklin and James Brown to Amy Winehouse, Prince, Black Pumas, Fleetwood Mac, and Taylor Swift.
Whether it’s on stage or in the studio, Bob brings passion, precision, and a deep respect for the groove. He is available for session work and fill-in gigs, ready to elevate any live show or recording project with seasoned musicianship and a pro-level attitude.
